They Have a sign up at the gate. I wish I had seen this earlier, as I was just there. It is a working placer and gravel opereration now.

Hillbilly, Here it is (TimC can't find the connector-cord): "Brinkley Mine" contact: Larry Martinie. 1-928-232-2935. Brinkley Mine consultants and development INC. They have a LARGE hole about 70 feet wide and 40 feet deep going. Lots of heavy equipment. Hope this helps. TTC
