It is real gold. Sulphides are simply metals alloyed with sulfer. Lead sulphide is galena... iron sulphide is pyrite... I don't know what the metallic equivalent of gold sulphide is (except just gold) but it is believed to be formed deep in the earth's magma core. TTC
