Ok sorry if I attached the pictures 100 times but I had major trouble trying to load them so now that they're there I don't want to risk completely removing them all. Anywho I found these along the texas coast and was hoping someone could tell me what they are. Wanted to add that the rock with the inner rings was originally whole. It was oval shaped and a white grey color outside. Thanks in advance.

#1 Appears to be granitoid as does #2. However #2 has substantially more biotite.

Is it magnetic? Meteorites are not my strong point. It has some traits that look similar to meteorites, but also lack some of those I've seen.
Such as fusion crust. I'm torn between 'not likely' and 'could be'; get a second opinion in the meteorites section of the forum.

I replied above. Still not much helpful from the pics.
You may try to whack of an edge with a hammer and show me the fresh surface, all the rust is concealing the minerals underneath; which is a good indication if you're looking for mineralization/ore minerals.

Get the new pics outside in daylight.

I'd tempted to think it's sandstone.

#1 I'd like a higher resolution image, if possible. It could be volcanic or metamorphic.
The white 'grains' are likely feldspar - see if they show 'flat' shiny spots if tilted in the sun. It's called cleavage and feldspar shows it off real well.
The flat spots look sorta like a staircase under magnification.

#2 Is likely a greenstone i.e. a metamophic rock of mafic (quartz-poor) composition.

Could be a weathered granite or a bog-ore like thing. I'd like better pictures, as in better resolution. I can't make out much details when zoomed in.
Also see if a knife can scratch it, any knife will do. And do a streak test; rubb against an unglazed piece of porcelain. What if any color do you get?

I always wondered if it was a meteorite, lol But I don't think so now when I've looked at pics of meteorites on Google Images. It's not magnetic, but it is heavy for it's size. I would like to know what it is.

Here's some pics of two rocks I found while trout fishing on a stream in an area that was missed by the glaciers. I'm trying to show the brownish colored small crystals that look something like a geode...

The image is to small to make out details. Get a bigger resolution picture. Will a knife scratch it?

#1 Could a hydrothermally altered rock. Can't say what it was originally. Perhaps sedimentary? Just speculating.
#2 Is a hydrothermally altered mafic rock; such as diabase/basalt or something similar.

the small crystals are quartz, I'd guess. Cool looking stuff!
I'd almost wanna call it druzy quartz.

Found a thin vein of this in an old hard rock mine, my google research makes me think it might be asbestos? It was found in Northern CA, near Downieville.

See if it will scratch a knife blade. Certainly a cool find!

It scratches really easy. I could even shave it with a knife if I wanted. It's flaky, like I could pull of layers.
