Found this about 40+ feet down. Had to use a jackhammer to break it up. What's it called? Thanks IMG_20190910_183718802.jpg IMG_20190910_183630208.jpg IMG_20190910_183623106.jpg

Need help identifying my collection please

Hello, my husband and I are new to this forum, and we have some very special rocks we'd like identified. We live in Mojave, CA, literally across the street from an active gold mine, however other minerals after known to be common around here. Anyhow, we've been on a mission after finding some very special rocks, some we believe contain gold, we hope, and some we believe may be ore, and then a couple that are just mind boggling beautiful but we have no idea what they are or their value, and moreso, where we'd take them.. ? So anyhow as long as I can successfully figure out how to upload the pictures, hopefully you can help us out? Please and thank you. IMG_20190925_144742.jpg

Hello, I’m new here. I’ve always had a habit of digging through rocks looking for something neat and I recently found something that stumped me. I was weeding the field stone rip rap down by a pond and found this rock with a chunk of dark red something in it. The texture is smoother than the rock around it and it gets darker towards the outside edges. I am in Northern Indiana and I assume the rock was brought in from somewhere local. 956C7D66-F8FD-4E6F-8381-8A97865C0B05.jpeg D79C1A36-CA96-4932-9ECE-CCD32E8A1F6F.jpeg

I would like to know that black rock too? They used a flat square slab of it for one wall, at least, of my sump pump. When I went to chip it, it’s real hard like basalt, but appears much darker and smoother complexion.

That one appears to be granite, but since it’s a near perfect ball, I would say it’s an artifact of some sort. I’m guessing cannon ball?

I have this rock around my house. I originally thought casting slag? But I read about Spherulite. Is this actually a natural rock? How did it form?

Can anyone help us if this is original ???

I’m guessing it’s not, mainly by it’s size? If it scratches easily or tarnishes, then it’s not Palladium. Being painted makes it harder to confirm. Best is put into bucket of water, take it out, add water to fill back up bucket. How many ml did it displace? Calculate ?ml=?weight and verify if it has the proper weight of Palladium is my suggestion.
Purity of star rating was Japanese I believe? 3 stars would be 20 Karat, 4-star 22 etc

The item on the left is pretty obviously a shaped indian artifact (axe head of some type) and the stone on the right is probably just naturally oddly shaped since it, the object in the pic, shows no signs of being shaped by man.

Sorry I'm new I'm having a really hard time getting an I'd on this rock. Non magnetic, very hard, one side has what appears to be a crust on it. It's very shiny quite dark in color yet looks silverish black. My camera picks up different colors in it on different sides
