Based on the size color and texture I would say odds are against it. Platinum nuggets that big would be a big deal. The color is pretty oxidized. Then there are the angular lines on which it looks like pieces broke off. Platinum probably wouldn't do that. It is very malleable.

Looks like melted aluminum to me. Does it seem heavy or light compared to iron/steel?
