It looks like the stamp shoes are still in the mill. That's the first place I would look for gold.

If those are your tailings, it looks like a mill site. the ore was crushed to a powder, and the minerals removed.The machine in the picture says Joshua Hendy machine works. is most likely the crusher. Google is your friend
