Hi all,
Not sure how many of you remember the gold rush located in Lyell NZ around 1930s?
Long story short I'm after advice on topics such as Caldera's, limestone and gossan sulfide zones.
This is my first post so I'm wondering do I give the google earth coordinates so that you can see what I'm talking about?
I've found good alluvial gold around 250mg per tonne and I've also found rare earth minerals off the scale.
Lyell source has created great alluvial mining all down the buller river but the spot I've found begs the question? Might as well drill into the hard rock and be sure I'm not walking over a sulfide deposit.
Thanks

Well if you can get your hands on some exploration drilling equipment, then start poking holes. I've never read much on New Zealands mining history before. Sounds like it be interesting.
