    FINDING OLD AND NEW MINING CLAIMS??

    HOW AND WHERE WOULD I FIND OLD AND NEW MINING CLAIMS , ARE THEY PUBLIC INFO? CAN I DO IT ON LINE? THE ARIA IM LOOKING TO FIND OUT ABOUT IS THE LADRONE MOUNTAINS ABOUT 75 MILES SOUTH OF ALBUQ. NEW MEXICO , THANKS FOR ANY AND ALL HELP

    BLM Lr2000---not very accurate but it's a starting spot which leads to the local county recorder and tax assessors office for more info. BLM ,depending on state,runs anywhere from 6 months to YEARS behind,particuliarly in calif,where info is extremely unreliable-Tons a au 2 u 2-John

    You gotta go to the BLM office in the county you want to file a claim in. They are usually extremely helpful and nice. Try to find the township and range the claim will be in, plus the section if you can.
