Do you think the rusty area in this photo would be a good place to investigate for a gold deposit. This photo was taken in a cessna over the Slumach gold search area.

Those are iron oxide deposits (iron is the mother of gold), and if they are in a known gold bearing region, you can bet the old timers investigated them.

Do to some new information I learned about this site I will forsure be going in for a look. I hope to get a film camera in there and to share it with all the prospectors out there.
