    e-trac vs garrett 1500

    i have the 1500 and i love it, but im wondering if the e-trac, might not be a better digger, any thoughts?? thanks for the in-put,need to let santa know if its going to be a e-trac 2012 or not !!!!!

    I cant speak for the 1500 but I had the 2500 and there is no comparison. The etrac is deeper, and is much better with target ID. With the garrett seemed it would say everything below 5 or 6 inches was a coin. When infact it would be iron. You will not regret getting an etrac.

    I have the 1500 and the Etrac blows it out of the water on depth, target ID, sens and battery usage.

    It's not even really fair to compare the Minelab E-Trac to the GTI 1500! The E-Trac is the most advanced machine on the market today. All the silver finds by users prove it.
