Well I haven't used them a lot but friends have both. The classic seems to be faster and easier to pinpoint. The newer one seems to have a delay when it goes over a target. The classic resets faster in my opinion but like I said I don't have much experience with either. Not sure which is deeper or more accurate id.

Whites make some great detectors. The Coinmaster Pro is NOT one of them! One of the most disappointing detectors I've ever had/used.

from what i read the prizm are a step up from the classics
what is the bases were yours is made from
