From what I can tell from the video the deus seems to do a better job of seeing the target in disc mode. Not sure what the silencer on the deus was set at though. Deteknix seemed to do better in all metal was struggling to report the targets in disc mode.

Thanks for posting the video i find it very interesting,i`m always interested in new machines.
My hunting partner has the Deteknix pin pointer in hot pink we both like it,does as well as Garrett PP.
I just hope this company can come through with a quality detector.

Slowing down the video....the DISC test on the Quest.....

(Did not show gain/sens or threshold....or DISC level....unless I missed it)
ID filter set to 20.
Manual GB set to 53 to match phase.
Tones set to 3.
Frequency Shift set to F3.

Test starts like this...I will convert the cm to inches.

Nail - 10cm (3.9in)
Euro w/ 2 nails on each side - 15cm (5.9in)
Dime - 10cm (3.9in)
Dime - 13cm (5.1in)
Dime - 16cm (6.2in)
Dime - 19cm (7.4in)
Euro - 19cm (7.4in)
Euro - 22.5cm (8.8in)
Bronze Buckle - 30cm (11.8in)

Things I noted....

Seems like 79-81 for a dime.
Seems to go fairly deep in AM mode and stay "fairly" constant on ID.
Euro with 2 nails is a tough unmask for any detector....but it did flash a 79 and 80....so IDK there. More testing needed obviously as it did struggle.
Struggled in DISC on the 6 inch dime...hopefully a setting error. Cannot imagine it won't hit a 6in dime.....

Nice homework there, HunterGT.

They both had a little trouble with the 9" Euro, but the test isn't great because he moves so fast for a few seconds then on to the next. A coin that deep needs to be Xed and short slow sweeps to try for a good ID. That made the Deus look a little bad as well, and I've seen some video's with good depth on the XP Deus.

You get an idea of the Quest's abilities, even if not a good one.
