5:30 this AM, I got out of bed to visit the loo. As the radiator started draining, I got a sensation, like I had stood up too fast, super dizzy with sparkles. My next sight is of the side of the toilet bowl, viewed from the floor. My left arm is in the toilet bowl, elbow bent over the rim, my hand in the water. I can't get up, can't get traction, and the right side of butt on the floor is soaking wet. I managed to get my arm out of the toilet, and passed out again.

I came to, and was really concerned about the wet butt, and struggled to get to my knees, pulled myself upright using the toilet bowl, and sink cabinet, that I was wedged in between on my side. Couldn't figure out the puddle. So dizzy, and now washed down in sweat, and quivering, I got myself back in the bed, less the wet shorts, and fell asleep immediately.

8:00 AM, I woke to a really sore face, my bottom lip hurt, and my mouth was sticky, the lips semi glued shut, not to mention my back hurt like hell, to go with the headache. Blood on my pillow. Went to the mirror for a look. It was like the closeup of a vampire's face in the movies, after feeding, with the blood surrounding my mouth, running down both sides of my chin, and clotted in my beard. I also have a big knot on my right cheek bone, turning blue with my right eye.

When my lights went out, I had fallen, or dropped. First contact was my bottom lip on the front dead center edge of the upturned toilet seat, actually chipping off a piece of the seat about a cm long, which I found just barely poking out of my lip. Nice cut on the front from the seat, and an opposite cut on the inside from my teeth. Almost lost a big chunk, but it held. The rest of the way down, I managed to strike my cheekbone on something, probably toilet tank, plus I scraped and bruised my back on the sink cabinet. The coup de gras, adding insult to injury, was I finished the radiator drain, while unconscious on the floor.

I feel OK, 5:30, look like I took a couple to the face.

You never know. Could have been much worse, I'm thinking.

Had something like that happen 3 times in a short period of time, i take a medication to help prevent it but the doctors still don't know what exactly it was, gave me a heart monitor but i think the meds kept it from happening so that was pointless. All three for me was soon after i got up within 30 mins and having coffee. Scared me bad.

I take bp meds myself, they think it may be due to a sudden drop in bp.

Kray you should see a doctor to be sure it wasnt something like a minor stoke or heart attack.

Had that happen to me upon first waking up in the morning. Got dizzy, chest started hurting, felt like I was going to throw up, and I remembered taking my BP the night before, and so upon feeling it I went and took some baby aspirin and headed to the ER. Immediately gave me some fluids, ran some tests, and apparently a clot had broken free from one of my arteries in my heart causing the mild heart attack.

I got up fast once and ended up sliding down a wall to the floor. Happened twice in 3 weeks. Went to see the Doc and he said it was Vertigo and nothing they can do for it. Scary.

I take a mild BP medicine, and a baby aspirin. And only an occasional drink, so it wasn't booze that put me down. I'm thinking dehydration. We'll see how I am tomorrow. I'm worried about losing this chunk out of my bottom lip. Mess up my face, you know? Leaks.

I would definitely see a doctor or go to a hospital soon as possible. Catching it early is the key. If it happens again you might not be so lucky. Good luck.
