Probably our most fav. nut. We purchase a case at a time of organic-though a few years back the price bounced around between $280-310 for 25 lbs. But the price has gone up as every other nut and seed. Then again I figure everything I consume better be of the highest quality, as food is the most important item we can purchase. To stay healthy, is the best policy one can achieve. No pill popping in this household-just eat well and everything seems to run pretty smooth.

A little box of raisins and a handful of walnuts, makes an excellent snack.
Raisins give just enough moisture , and I like the mix of flavor.

Good stuff :)

I enjoy them with dried mango also.
I seem to always take a ziplock bag and dump a mixture of nuts/seeds/currents/mango, wet the fingers stir just to slightly dampen the mixture, salt, shake up the contents.
It really helps the hunger if it hits while out detecting in the fields or bush.
