Until someone pipes in - When you say will not let me type in the answer are you saying when you tap the box and enter keys - nothing comes up on the screen? If that is the case - I have noticed that if the page hasn't completely loaded - you can't enter information - make sure the page has completely loaded. OR, are you saying it doesn't accept your answer minelab?

was the Question what Brand Beats All ?

I may be wrong But I would be surprised if an Anti spam question
asks for brand name.
not sure, Just Surprised :tongue3:

I would think the answer would be more Generic since not all members know all brands. especially brand newbies :icon_scratch:

What was the Anti-Spam question ?

Thank you gentlemen, here's my input.

I'd made the changes, clicked on submit/save and this question comes up and is labeled Anti-Spam question. I do not recall the entire question but it spoke of a detector that folks were using and the seeming answer was M_____ Detector.

I attempted to add in what I thought were the missing letters inelab however, when I clicked on the open space nothing would happen (ie: it was not a hot link). My latest updates to my profile were never accepted.

I tried going over a new page twice and had the exact identical message and results. NADA happens? Whas uP??

Thank you, Herb/63bkpkr

This is the anti-spam question that is asked when joining up... Anti-Spam Question: Many people on this site use a M____ Detector. Fill in the blank. The answer of course would be "metal"; not what brand. You should be typing in "Metal".

I think you need to type in the whole word metal in order to make it work.
