Good Day, just started hunting with my GARRETT 350 and having a blast ! I had a signal and dug what looked like a rock BUT it is extremely LIGHT WEIGHT for its size and did makke my headset go off major ? I broke a small piece off and it looks metallic inside, would this be slag or coke ?? I can not believe how accurate my GARRETT is, when it goes and I dig there has been something thre every time but once ! Pennies, nickle, dime, nails, and a 1971 Matchbox car.....Awesome ! Recently given permission to hunt an aold orphanage from the civil war times and am hoping to hit something better.... Anywho, lightweight rock that sets off detector like mad . . . Slag, meteor or coke ??? Thanks for your help...Hawk65

1st - I noticed this was your very first post Hawk65 - so, Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

2nd - I moved this request from Help! over to Our Discoveries > What Is It? for more exposure.

3rd - Would a big help if you could provide pictures.
