Im passing along a thank you written by the mans life we helped save.
http://nl.newsbank.com/nl-search/we...m=6&p_theme=gannett&s_site=lsj&p_product=LSJB

This fellow calls daily to check on me.......but we have met and had coffee and cookies with him and his wife.

My next project that im working on is to get guard rails on the roads to prevent this from hopefully happening again.
The twp. supervisor has offered her help in any way possible to accomplish this.

Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts.

Ive had people ask me if we were nuts or sick in the head.............we awnser nope not at all.
It might be me or the wife in a water filled drainage ditch and pray somebody comes to rescue us.
Since this has occured we are both seeing more folks stopping to help at car accidents on the freeways and country roads.
Possibly it has renewed folks volunteerism spirit in helping out their fellow man.
For whatever reason it has renewed our faith in mankind.

Update.......The gentleman that we found and help rescue passed away about a couple months ago.
I felt sad but my wife said to me we gave the man 16 more months on this Earth.
RIP Mr. Pohl.

You, your wife and God gave that guy his.
I can only hope he made the most of it.

I am not sure how the wife is doing Old Dog.
Life has been just too busy here in the last year.
