First Diamond Engagement Ring and Returned to Owner
I found my first diamond engagement ring today. My neighbor mentioned several weeks ago her friend had lost her ring playing ball with her son at a ball park. She thought it came off in the baseball mitt. Well I finally spoke to the lady and she said her husband and a friend rented detectors and could not find the diamond. I told her I would check it out after dinner tonight. After about 45 minutes of no finds the husband showed up. He showed me where his wife had been (which I hunted hard) and casually mentioned she had thrown the baseball mitt at the fence. I decided to run along the fence and after 5 minutes...BINGO! Check out the video on Youtube of me calling her. This is what MD'n is all about!

Re: First Diamond Engagement Ring and Returned to Owner
You did a great thing there Jim!
What a great shot-in-the-arm for metal detectors everywhere!
I love hunting old relic sites . . . as I feel
the imprint of past lives often linger there.
I view relic sites as windows to the past, sacred places
in a way, yet at the same time attesting to the reality
that the past is still very much a part of our today!
