"Hi, My name is Indiana Digger & I'm an addict..."
Law Enforcement Calls On Detectorists
Hello Everyone,
I hope you are experiencing a "thaw" in your area, like we are here.
On Saturday, I got a call from our VP of the East Central Indiana Treasure Hunters - www.ecith.weebly.com
He was contacted by local law enforcement who was requesting help. Due to the dark and the 6 inches of new snow we recieved early Saturday morning, law enforcement requested our help in locating a handgun used in a crime the night before.
Kilmer and I arrived on the scene and within 15 minutes - Jackpot!

We were able to find the (loaded) gun and keep it out of the hands of bad guys or even worse, unsuspecting kids.

Law Enforcement was happy and we provided the names of 3 club members who can be contacted around the clock, should a similar situation arise again.
Sure, we love to hunt, but we REALLY love to know that we're making a difference in the community.
Happy Hunting and Keep On Swingin'!
