~~ CLASS RING FOUND ( RETURNED!!! ) ~~

Dug this today at about 4 inches, owners name was inside, when we got home my brother started calling and leaving messages,

about five hours latter I get a call from a woman that tells me that the ring belongs to her son who is now deceased,have made arangements to meet with her and return the ring!!,,,, she was thrilled to hear from me,, and I look forward to meeting her.

Met with the mother today at 5:00, ring was returned and she was greatfull,, sad story,,,,,, her son died at the age of 29,,heart attack!!! any way she got the ring ,,,,,, all is good!!!!,,,,did not seem right to take any pictures. thanks

I am a bit saddened though. If he were alive, he would have been about 45 years old. That is far too young....

I'd suspect this will be an emotional occasion for the mother.

I can only say what others have said, WAY TO GO!!! That mother deserves to have the ring back, to give her one more piece of her son. And to give it back to her near Mothers Day, couldn't be any more special. God does work in mysterious ways.

very nice i had the privalige of returing a class ring last year 1946 barton acdamy had the initals of owner on inner band was able to trace it back to her but she had died also couple years earlyer would have liked to her the story of how and when she lost it but not to be did return ring to a very happy son tears in his eyes saying thats all i have left of my mothers wanted to know what he owed me i said a hand shake would do my rewards were many that day as will be yours thats what i call a very rich find congrates to you job well done
