    W.F.F.D. "Electrictian" badge returned!

Some of you may remember the WFFD Electrician badge I dug in Nov.
    http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,435837.0.html

Well, yesterday I returned the historical relic to where it belonged. The WFFD was extremely excited to have this piece of history for their new display case in the front lobby. They are still working on tracking down the age of the badge and possibly who owned it. Let's just say it was before the retired fire chiefs time, and he was there for 48 years. His father was fire chief before him.
He is the older gentleman pictured with me in front of the display case.
Also pictured in front of the WFFD fire truck are the new fire chief and myself.
It was a good feeling to return the badge to these guys, and to see it will be proudly displayed again.
    Thanks for looking,
    MM

As Rob said, Honorable Mention Nomination is definitely warranted for this gesture. You could have easily have just kept the badge in your collection. I'd expect no less from a good and ethical hunter like you.
I'm sure that will make the Raleigh paper. Just think-people will say "I recognize that famous guy because I saw his picture on the wall in the post office. He's wanted for impersonating a relic hunter"-LOL. WTG, Q.
