It's an Honorable Mention in my book. And the additional 'finds' look like they had fun too. The great thing about them is they'll always be around for you the older they (and you) get ! Many happy hunts with you and your buddies.

Thanks Old Salty, kw4, Papa Bear, and Dman! And thanks to you Josh. Lookin' forward to DIV. Finding the ring as quickly as I did had to be more than mere luck. Perhaps Divine Providence? Who knows? I do know this - the area that was shown me was roughly 60 x 50 and I found the ring after about 10 steps in a straight line on the edge of the area pointed out to me. Had I been off 1 foot either way, I'd have missed it.
