Hopefully a ring going home---It's going home / She got it back

Back in July i found this school ring from N.Y. out on Cape Cod and have been trying to locate the owner..Well tonight a got an email from the principal stating he found the owner and that i should be receiving an email soon. Lets hope so i'll add more after i get a responce

Just got an email from the owners dad, he said she was devastated about loosing it,but she won't know about the recovery until she's home on spring break so i'm gonna get it cleaned and send it to him he said he would get me a picture of her with it hope so

Dang, that's perseverance! I'm glad you're doing it. Hope they send the picture with the young lady smiling ear to ear. I hope there's one with a completely shocked look on her face as well. Nice job. Well worth an Honorable Mention.

Got a hold of the owners father and he cant believe i'm going to send it home he said she was devastated that she lost it and she is in college now and won't be home until spring break and he assures me i'll get a pic of her with the ring i had it cleaned and the pic doesnt do it justice

She got it back

This is the young lady that lost her school ring back in July on Cape Cod. I finally found her at the end of February, I found it at the end of July. I emailed the principal asking for help and after a few months he got back in touch with me stating he found her and that her dad will be emailing me soon. I've been emailing her dad due to her being in college. I sent it out on the 5th and she got it today the 12th, talk about snail mail. As you can see she's pretty happy about it. Her dad couldn't believe that i put in this much effort but it was worth it. He said she was devastated about loosing it. I'm just glad that i made someones day. Thanks for looking
