The other nite a co-worker contacted me saying a family member lost her gold necklace while visiting a country cemetary. The necklace was an heirloom handed down by her grandmother. I didn't have high hopes because when I showed up it was freezing cold, deep snow, didn't know if my detector would even work, and they weren't sure where the necklace was lost...I scanned the road for a minute then started following tracks in the snow. After a couple false hits, I kicked the snow and saw the gold. Found it in less than 5 minutes! That's my friend Tony with the necklace.

Way to go D!!! Awesome GOLD recovery and in less than 5 minutes too!!
Congrats on the Honorable Mention and good deed.
I'm sure the sentimental value of the necklace from her grandmother is priceless
Woohoo, finally a cemetery-detecting thread that isn't full of controversy! Great work on the swift recovery and return, hopefully the co-worker's family will return the favor by tracking down some permissions for you this Spring!

You are an honor to the hobby (or should I say lifestyle)
