That is too freakin funny...i could only imagine what she was thinking when she was posing for this pic..lol

and you say she is 20? she looks like she just started HS...damn im getting old...everyone looks like little kids to me
No actually she didn't have a problem with the sign when I explained how desperate Carolina Tom is. She is a tiny young woman like I said smallest ring I've ever seen. She graduated 2 years ago.

Yeah OD you're right I think CT's cousin was 16 when he married here.

Nice find Tyler. I found a school ring from the late 60's while detecting an antebellum hotel in the 90's. I tracked down the owner and returned it to him. He was very appreciative and told me the story of how the ring was lost. The hotel and acreage was a youth camp in the 60's. The ring's owner was a camp counselor the summer after he graduated. During a hayride, he was sitting on the hood of the tractor. The tractor hit a bump, he fell off, hit his head and woke up the next morning in the hospital. He noticed that his ring was missing and thought someone in the hospital had stolen it while he was out. To this day, that is the only thing I have ever found with my detector that I know the whole story of how it came to be where I found it. Returning it to the owner completed the circle and now we both know "the rest of the story". That made it a special find for me.

I just looked at this again. You must have asked her to write the sign? I see no words were misspelled.

Don't you know I'm mad because I haven't received my reproduction of the famous Coinman Sundial and you promised me #1 and signed:laughing7:

Still working on it :laughing7: It seems the museum is not too eager to spend money on casts and reproductions at the moment :) When they do you get first one!
