I know it's not a big deal, but it's always cool to trace down some history when you can. I found this tool check last week, and although the house is long gone and the original owner has passed away I was able to track down his grandson (same initials), who's great-grandfather lived at that address. He was super excited to get it because he was very close with his grandpa and knew which shop it would have been a tool check for. Met up with him today on my lunch and gave it to him. Fun stuff, love this hobby.

Always rewarding when you can ID something and return it to the owner or family in this case. Nice job Griff!!
