I Found a Hog gold ring today
I found this ring about chest deep in a local swimming hole, there's a name inscribed in it and I called the only one by that name in this town and it wasn't theirs, he said it might be his son's and I still haven't gotten a call back yet. Then I checked for that name in the state and there are 6 others, the guy that I talked to couldn't identify it but if it's his son's then he should be able to identify it. It's one heavy mutha, the biggest gold ring I've ever found.

I managed to get the ring back to its owner
The people that I had called earlier returned my call with an exact description of the ring so I brought it to the owner and received a nice finders fee too. It's a great feeling! Pete was happy and his mom and dad were mighty happy too, his dad told me (after Pete walked away) that he paid over $500 for it. Pete's girlfriend had lost 2 rings that she wore on a chain in the lake and was able to see the silver one but the gold one was gone forever. Needless to say everyone was a happy camper and I'm sure Pete's girlfriend will be when she finds out too.
