 Silver Coin Fiend
Diamond Rings Returned
Smittyman informed me that he had been contacted about finding two rings for a lady. It sounded sketchy to me, something just didn’t seem right, so I quickly agreed to go along.
We drove way out in the country to a nice house, unfortunately too new for a realistic hope of any goodies.
The lady informs us that her ex-husband “lost” her 14K white gold and diamond engagement ring and wedding band in the back yard, while intoxicated! I can only imagine. She showed us where she was told the rings were dropped.
We hadn’t been there 10 minutes, and I got a target on top of the ground, I pulled the tallish grass back, and BINGO.

We went and got the lady, and I gave her the engagement ring. She couldn’t believe it. Here I am hamming it up with her.

I suspected the other ring was nearby, and since Smittyman is really old, I let him take over my line, within 4 feet, he found the other ring! She had a tear in her eye. It was great.
Here he is telling the lady about his orthopedic shoes or something like that.

Here is a pic of both rings, back on her hand. They were really killer rings, several grand I suspect. She offered us $200, but we declined and settled for a couple pictures instead.

Thanks for looking and good luck on your hunts.

Tom, you deserve an Honorable Mention for this.
It's a well written summary of events, and if Smittyman posts here, he too should receive an HM.
Ya made us all look great out there today!
Vote coming up!

Smittyman is so old he told her rubber soles are the wave of the future....
But really Tom, nice job helping someone out who really needed a hand. Sure I’m speaking of the lady, but also Letting Smittyman take over.
Bravo! Honorable mention vote inbound

Tom Great job by both yourself and Smittyman. Really disappointed she wasn't holding a sign saying Hello DirtStalker. Maybe the Stalker part scared her off. Hope that YOU asked her out if she's single After All she already has the engagement ring. Good job
