I found a woman's husband's lost titanium wedding band today.
I responded to a post on our local bulletin board toady where a woman was seeking help finding a "lost item."
Someone else had responded first, but turned out two be a no show, so the lady contacted me.
It turned out that her husband had lost his titanium wedding ring in tall grass on a very steep hillside.
It took me a little over an hour to search for it, but I finally found it.. she was tickled to death!
Wish I had had a camera to capture the moment.
Good Job Creskol. An acquaintance of mine lost his wedding ring and his wife lost a gold earring. I have told him several times I would try to find them but he has never called so I guess they don't care. Can't help if they don't want help I guess.
"And so the population was gradually led into the demoralising temptations of arcades, baths, and sumptuous banquets. The unsuspecting Britons spoke of such novelties as 'civilisation', when in fact they were only a feature of their enslavement." Tacitus, Roman Senator and Historian, written AD 98.
The Bald Eagle photo...he/she posed for me, gave me it's best American look. I felt privileged to get the shot.
