Congrats to your son! I killed my first deer when I was 11 and I still remember it like it was yesterday. I did alright this season. I hunted hard from opening day of bow season to about December and never got a buck. I only had one shooter within bow range and I picked the wrong tree for my climber that day. I managed to kill two doe though, so I've got a little meat in the freezer which I'm happy about. I may go out one or two more times before season ends.
