Its a Johann Hoff bottle ,looked it up on the net. Lots of info on it. the top is broken so I am going to have to only display the good side. Here are picks of another couple of bottles I pulled out of the mud. These are not real old. 30s-50s maybe.

I don't care about Bumbo, but I sure would like to know where all the Oreos from that box are!?!

Re: found sticking out the sand

Hey Birdman.....saw this post by you.....Went on a hunt while you were still in country, but went with my one son stationed in TaeGu, and the other son was visiting from Japan.
We found the usual number of coins, but then my son hit into an area at the edge of the coin site.....found two old beer bottles that look very similar to yours...but they were made by Japanese distillers.....so they dated sometime in the 1910-1945 era.
Also, found a much smaller, clear bottle with Japanese writing on it.....he took that one back with him to Japan.
Nice post.....did you find out anything else about your bottles?
Can't find it if you're watching tv at home, your machine isn't on, and the head of your detector is pointed up!!
