Did some hunting at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
I slowly walked around the entire lazy river 3 times.
1 tungsten carbide wedding band with 3 diamonds
1 14k gold hoop earring
my wife thought I was crazy, but I knew there was jewelery in that water.

Nice find on the gold earring, tungsten ring is most likely CZ and not diamond. I also hunt the water parks eye balling when I am there.....

Re: Did some hunting at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
This post is a few months old but I'll chime in.
The wife, son and I went to Atlantis in the Bahamas in August. While you hit the water slides and lazy river, after a week, you get to know the
ride attendants. They have life-guards posted about every 100 or 200 feet or so. My wife lost her sunglasses (DGs) while going down one of the rapids
areas. We yelled to the the life-guard on our pass telling him about it. He yelled he would see what he could do. I figured yeah, right on.
On our, probably 30th trip around the lazy river, we came back to his post. He jumped off the wall with a towel, into the water, and pulled our
inner tube into an eddy. He unfolded the towel, and said to my wife, "Pick one". He had 14 pair of sunglasses from high-end to regular cheapees. Along
with a gold necklace and two bracelets. I asked him what he does with these. He stated if no one asks the attendant at the top about them and
is not asked over the radio or by supervisors by the end of the day, he'll clean them up and sell them downtown to the cruise ship passengers.
I bet he cleans up pretty well.
If you have a chance to visit the place, go, but plan on spending a chunk of change.
There is a river of wealth that runs through the world.
Many can see if from atop the mountains.
Others can almost reach it from the edge.
And a few lucky are swimming in it. The secret is those
swimming in it also CONTROL ACCESS.

Been there and done that. Toured the Aquarium and Casino (Well the Aquarium anyways ) the casino was for fun.
A six ounce bottle of water was $8.00 Told my wife that was 8.00 less I could have in the slots. Took me a week to
get rid of the mark on my face from her hand....
