Went out to a place that Brett and I have hit a few times together. Its close to home, like 5 mins away, and has produced some Injuns in the past. Since Brett pulled 2 Injuns from this place I've been back there about 3 times and never even scored a Wheatie. Why I went back there I don't know...maybe I just felt lucky being Fri. the 13th and all. ;D The truth is I've been dialing in my DFX over the last few days and dug 10 wheats at other locations. I knew if I could get to an older site I could hear the deeper ones if they were there. The first coin I dug was the 42 Merc. After digging the first Injun, I called the dentist and canceled my appointment. Total for the day was a Merc, 2 injuns, 4 wheats, oldest being 1918 and a old dog tag from 56. Same year this old dog was born! :D Also got a kids knife and a whatsit. The whatsit is 1" square x 1/4" thick, and has a bowling logo guy on it. Bowling ball weight?

Man, great day for you... and the dime was 8" deep ay? You better write down that program while it's hot.

Great hunt!! Those Indians are wonderful and cleaned up really well too

That Brunswick thing may be some type of an award for when you
bowl a 700 series. . . three games totaling 700 or more. . . (guess)

Take care,

Those finds are great! Those Indians are in sweet shape, that Merc is gorgeous, and a '56 dog tag is a real special find in my book! WTG!!!

Great finds there. I think injuns are my favorite coin besides silver to dig up, especially when they clean up as nice as those. HH
