Little of this, little of that

Did a tot lot and grass search at a Hispanic school. In past visits, I have found some small bling now and then (in the tot lot). Found a 10K ID bracelet, it was actually found by sight as it was lying on the surface. I also found a (small) pewter dragon in the tot lot. In the grass area, a CEC token and yet another key, but nothing much else of note.

Today I went to the local school where I am now up to 256 quarters. Found my first (complete) watch in a long time. Some Tommy Boy cheap-o. The part that connects to the watch band was chipped so the band falls off at one end. Wouldn't have been worth getting a new battery anyway as the battery would cost more than the watch is worth LOL. I also found a small pocket spill that consisted of a few Q's, dime, nickel, cent and yet more keys (2 of them). Already up to 8 of them for the year.

I'm going to e-mail the school to see if anyone reported losing an ID bracelet. They can have it back if they supply the correct name. Now, if it was 14K, not sure if I would be so nice of a guy

    Oz, great hunt!

Finding jewelry is like a double-edged sword. . . if you can find the owner, that's great. . . and if you can't. . .

    Take care,

Nice job on the gold! Plus it sounds like you're really cashing in on quarters there!
