Don't feel bad Bob...Its been almost 2 weeks since I've dug any silver and I'm wondering if I'll remember what it looks like. Nice score of wheats though...any teens in there?

You've got to break the spell, bro!

Something like sending every wheat you find until you get your next silver to Nick...

It worked for me with my buffs to end my silver drought!
God bless our veterans! Thank you for your sacrifices!

Hey Bob, at least you got some wheaties.
I don't know how many times I've been in the middle of nowhere thinking I'm the last guy to have walked there in 50 years, get a strong signal, and dig up a clad quarter or memorial.

    Sorry, Bob.
It turns out I didn't get Bob the Barber today. Would you settle for Bob the formerly silver-plated spoon?

    Re: The hunt with.......

Bob, yeah, I know the feeling. I'm trying to get used to it, but when everyone else seems to be finding the good stuff and you can't seem to no matter how hard you try, it can be a bit frustrating. As a wise man named Kermit once said at a certain Boy Scout camp while comparing his meager finds to the finds of a more experienced elder, "To each his own pace".

Honestly, for me, it's not just the silver I'm going for. Any old coin, be it a buffalo, V, IH, or any other non-silver coin will get me going. Wheats...well, they are a good indicator of the age of a given area, but those are a dime a dozen (in this economy!) and typically I strive for days like the one Kermit and Mark had today. Next week...look out guys...mwuahahaha...

    Keep truckin', Bob.
