something old?????????? Next $50 in Clad It's guarantied silver IF you
First off......You might think about getting a Double d.or dd coil for your Garrett ACE.......BEFORE you spend more money on another detector.....But I will say By.....Your
Next $50 in Clad You Dig........I guaranty you should dig a silver IF.........You slow down a bit.......Look for targets that give that famous "Garrett Bell Tone",and PinPoint 3" or more..............If You dig only 3" or more......BUT .....NEVER ....pass up a dime or Quarter signal (No mater how shallow).......................I would guaranty 2 or 3 silver coins by the time you get your NEXT ..... $50 in clad......................Silver is found shallow as well as deep,,,,,But............You could dig $200 in Clad in the Tot Lots with-out digging a silver...................Try the grass....5-20' out-side those tot lots and S L O W D O W N a bit......I have a $100 + in clad this year, and a couple silvers to show ,for my trouble......H.H.

Re: A week of Clad
Gotta go with Dave on that advice. You obviously have a handle on coinage with that machine. With the better coil, it will make more coinage available, even deeper.
Totlots will bring you more gold and silver, just not in the form of coinage. If you're clad-happy, do not miss the carnie cleanups. One good carnie cleanup will deliver all that coinage you've got so far and sometimes much more plus it won't be dirty and corroded. Don't miss out on volleyball courts, they sport the best variety of coinage and bliing in the best defined area.
Hey, can we see a pic of the 'stang?

Thanks for the advice. I will do that. I do tend to be a bit impulsive and wanna tear into anything I enjoy like a bulldog. But before I invest in something like another detector I suppose I should fully learn this one first. and I have the 6x9 stock and the sniper. Would you suggest the 10x14dd for after I clean an area with the smaller coil?

Thats a sweet ride......You will get alot of complements on that one............
...........................I..... dont think you can clear an area out that easily........It takes many hunts,,,,year after year before that happens depending on conditions......As far as a dd coil......I dont know what Garrett has available for your machine,,,,,,,,,,,,but I personaly will not hunt with a concentric coil anymore in my area..A dd coil will reveal deep coins with much better separation than a concentric will.........I have a 7" a 10 1/2",a 12"...........and if my buddy decides to sell I might buy his 15" DD coil for the DEEEEEP ones...............If I were you I would try something near 7" for SUPER TRASHY AREAS,,,,,,,BUT MAINLY HUNT WITH A dd that is near 11-12" as my main coil..................There will be ALOT OF NOISE......So go SLooooower...............Good Luck

OK, thanks again. I will look into coil options for the ace. Before a new machine.
