WHATS THE SCOOP ON IL STATE PARKS.

id sure like to get to a beach somewhere.in central il. only place reasonably close is clinton lake. i saw an older post on the il state park regs require a yearly registration. im not a charter member so i cant use the SEARCH FEATURE. some please throw me a link or comment thanx.

Go to the State Park and ask them for a permit to hunt the beach. Depending on how that park is administered, the permit may be good for days, months or years. One nearby state park here gave me a three year permit, another wanted to know exactly how long I was going to be hunting the area and gave me a permit for a weekend. At another one I was told go ahead, no formalities involved.
