I just spent 45 minutes doing this post and guess what...I hit the wrong key Bam

Met Jon and Dan out at their "AWESOME SPOT"

First 15 minutes I pulled out an 1898 IH.

Bit later I got a weird signal and dug about 3 inches deep and then lost the signal.
I put the dirt back and went over it again. This time it was a strong signal.
Pulled the dirt back out and found the target with the probe...

The rest of the story is blank.....

Just Kidding!!!!!!

I yelled ok.... I screamed something like Yahooo Ya Baby I did it...

Then I started too....

Ya I did.....come on it's been
10+ years that I have waited to dig "1" of 3,365,505 + 875 proof of the
1884 Philadelphia SEATED dimes that were minted.

I can't believe it I dug a SEATED!!!! coin All I can say is SEATED!!!!SEATED!!!!SEATED!!!!SEATED!!!!SEATED!!!! SEATED!!!!

I called Kimsdad up and yelled SEATED!!!! I found a SEATED!!!!.
He says. What I cant hear you. I said SEATED!!!!

I gave the phone to Jon and Jon invited him and WaterColor out to the "AWESOME SPOT"

After the shaking settled down it was back to digging.
Next good target was a CJ toy.
How fitting for the occasion... A toy Trophy.... We all got a good laugh with that one...

LOL....

Just so you know that the SEATED!!!! ( I had to say it)
was found near ( 6-8 inches away) a disturbed area but it wasn't in that hole.
The dime was in a hard packed area.... We all just have to do better at rechecking an area. I'm learning each time too from mistakes I make....

Big congratulations. Happy to hear that you finally found one. The elusive beast gave itself up to the hunter. Glad to hear you made it into the SEATED club. For the longest time I was planning to 'seed' the ground with one on one of those hunts. Kept a chinese copy in the car on the last several hunts we were together, but never sprung it out. Conditions weren't right. So until next time...
