1.5 hours...3 Silvers = $1.00 sum in silver coins.
SeatedSr. wanted to get out somewhere close for a little bit because we both had to be on call as witnesses for my house burglary.
We decided to go back to the "backyard"
Within a few minutes, I had a 6-49/7-50/ reading just under the surface. I walked past it thinking it would be a can or something. I walked about ten feet away, and said f@#k it...the big silver bracelet I found had the same reading. I went back, found the signal and about 2" deep I dug out the 1896 Barber Half. I actually first thought someone was playing a joke, because with the dirt on it and being pretty worn, I thought it was a giant washer.
About 1.5 feet away towards the woods, I got a breaky signal coming from the nulling, but would pop up to 12-46/47....Like a rusty square nail would do. First I found a rusty bottle cap, and just to the side of it I saw the silver edge and saw it was big. That was to be the 1901 Barber Q. (Under 3")
About 3 inches away from the BQ, Another breaky, iffy signal. Well, If I just dug a Barber Q, and the signal is the same....why not. Out poopped this beautifull 1929 SLQ.
Short hunt with booty to take home. Gotta love this hobby! Still a lot more area to cover.

Thanks. Definately makes up for Sunday. I just can't believe all we found was dimes on Sunday, and not a single dime for me today....Dad got a Merc, but that's it.
