Great video! Nice to see some new faces, even though that one guy didn't find his first silver, I'm sure he'll be back soon for it. Nice WL half dollar find, you'd think all the BIG silver would have been snagged outta there. And nice job on the silver and V nickel, and IH. Kinda makes me wanna go back there and try my luck...maybe.

Nice video and hunt Dave. I've been looking at the Kodak Zi8 HD camera... looks quiet good with the image stabilization. That switch that goes from Macro to Normal mode is what really makes that camera awexome though.

I bought and tried the Kodak Zi8 CORRECTION! make that a Zi6HD camera and something bothered me so much about it that I returned it. When I was taking video outdoors, I could barely see what was in the viewfinder or screen. The outdoor light almost always drowned out the image and I couldn't see what was being filmed. Consequently most of the video I shot was no good because I had to guess at what was framed. The photo part of the camera was OK but it also suffered with the same problem outdoors of not being sure of what was going to be captured. Inside with indoor lighting it was OK but that wasn't why I bought it - I had wanted to do mostly outdoor photos and video. Anyways, if you buy the camera at Walmart, you can try it for up to 30 days and return it if it sucks. I did.

I use a Kodak Zi6 to take videos and Macro on my hunts.....When I get home ,clean my finds,and set up a back ground and lighting...I then transfer my sdhc card to my Kodak Zi8............and record the finds......
In good lighting indoors..It can take great 1080P HD video,,,,and the macro is good to 7 inches vs the Zi6 has to be 2 inches..............I still like my Creative Vado HD for outdoor filming ,but it can not focus close enough to record a date on a coin......You can barely tell the difference between a rosie,merc,and barbers .But No clarity/No Macro......
I am still experimenting ,but I was really shaking when I was filming this......I didn't think I was ,but it is apparent in the video....................It will be sometime next year before I have Videoing down pat.........TreasureFiend has it all down pat.....He Da MAN...........
