Decisions, decisions. . .
It was already 10:00AM, the sun was in full bloom, and I still hadn't
decided where I wanted to hunt. Should I go East or West. . . I went
West. (a good decision )
Before I left home, I gave Kimsdad a call to let him know I was going
to hunt some uncharted woods and was hoping that he could join the hunt.
About 45 minutes later. . . just after I dug a 1918 Wheat. . . he called to let
me know he was there and was going to check out another spot that
wasn't too far from where I was hunting. We agreed that if either of us
found anything where we were at, we'd let the other person know.
Well, 3-minutes later, I struck silver. . . a 1902 Barber Dime. . . so I
called Neil to let him know this might be a good spot.
A few minutes later, Neil arrived as I was digging another target which
turned out to be my second Barber Dime. . . a 1916-S. After I re-scanned
the hole, I got a second target which was a 1915-D Wheat.

For the next 1-1/2 hours, it was fairly quiet except for a few more Wheat's
from the 1940's then, as I was about ready to call the hunt, I got another sweet
signal which turned out to be my 3rd Barber Dime of the day, an 1896-O.
I must say, it was a pleasant drive home
(Neil, thanks again for taking the "insitu" photos )
Thanks for looking!

Nice Barber dimes! Wow, three in a day! Must have been nice to be out yesterday, what a beautiful day. I was out on Saturday when it was cold and depressing. You must be tired from all that detecting, how abut you tell me where that spot is and I go there and clean all that silver junk up for you? lol...congrats!
