    Found a warm spot today

Not hot yet, but it'll take some more hunting to be sure.

Me and Mayo hit a small stretch of ground and right away I got a 1920 wheatie, followed a little while later by a '41. The '41 was with an early 60's mem that looked like it was older than the wheat.

Mayo did a little better, with older wheats and a very sweet V nick.

Still cherry picking the signals, getting clad from top to 4 inches. Five Jeffs and 6 clad rosies jumped at me along with 10 mems. Nice thing is they were all under the ground at decent enough depths to indicate the place has not been throuroughly hunted in a long time. All were older clad too, so that's a good sign.

We hope it warms up some more!

Hope you all got some goodies today!

Yeah, we lightly covered about one-third the total area and were pretty much cherry picking the signals, so when we get back there it's gonna be nose in the holes for anything that beeps.

    Here's a photo of the V-nickel I got there.
Cleaned with only dish detergent and water and soft toothbrush.
The back side is just as crisp but the photo was slightly out of focus so I didn't include it.

I tried cleaning some of the wheaties with powdered Bon-Ami and the toothbrush but it basically did nothing that I could see. 5% vinegar turns them quite red though.
