First holed silver today, 10 wheats and a Rosie
Got back out again today close to home. I started off a a new site and talk about old... some of the wheat's were still laying on top of the ground. I decided to leave this site until the fellow that obtained permission for me could return with his new detector, that he's still waiting on.
I was heading over to the Honey Hole when I saw a new parking lot being cut into a different park.
They bulldozed out a foot deep and it was really muddy, but being a good scout I was prepared for anything. So I got my boots on and dove in... First signal was the '43 Sixpence! Man, I was stoked 'cause I thought it was something older. It must have been holed for a bracelet, so I'm hoping there's
more pieces to find. Ended up the day with another Rosie and 10 wheats, '19 to '53.
Then on the way home I'm wondering if I should or could, count this Sixpence in my totals for the year.
Guess I don't have to feel guilty about counting it, as not only is it 92.5 silver content, but this Australian coin was actually minted in Denver, CO.

Thanks for looking!

Foreign silver is silver, period. Unless it's from Canada, because, well, they just aren't good enough up there.
(Just kidding Mike, that sweet Canadian fishscale you found is awesome!)
Congrats!
