    Hail storm

    What a hail storm..
Never in my life have I experienced such large and damaging hail.
The cars and house got hit really bad.
Made claims with the insurance company.
My treasure mobile is a GOLF BALL now.
Hey maybe I'll get better gas mileage...

Wow! that's some nasty looking stuff. I remember when I lived in Michigan, we got a hailstorm that broke windows on homes, destroyed windshields on cars, and pelted some kids on bikes really badly. I hope the insurance company takes care of the damage for you!

Man, sorry bout all the damage. So far, for me this year, living south of I-80 has brought great benefit in missing the heavy snow and hard storms.

Wow, reminds me of the day we were hunting last year, driving through the river flowing in the street.

    Re: Hail storm

I was driving to work when it hit, I was driving along at about 35mph then the rain and wind started then about 5 seconds later I couldn't see past my hood at the road in front of me. I slowed down and threw on my 4-ways (as did everyone around me). Creeping along I was looking for anything that I could use for cover. It sounded like someone was shooting golf balls at my car!!! I made it under a gas station overhang but before I did my car got 6 new dents on the hood, roof, and trunk lid. I seriously thought that the winshield was going to bust through!!!

Aren't you glad you weren't out MDing when that hit? Hope all the trouble with the insuance co. goes well. Wind took off all the siding on the west side of our barn last night. Good Luck getting it all fixed Bob. Is your knee getting better?

I wish I was driving , at least I could have found cover but now I have 3 golf ball cars...My car has about 200 -300 dents. 1/2 of my wife's car was covered by the peek of the garage and some of the over hang. Sons car got it bad too as well as the house
