Happened upon a medium sized park-like area while driving around the other day. Decided to try it out and found an un-hunted (apparently) section that spit out six dimes and unbelievably, a '37 buff in decent shape. The Quarter and the 57 dime next to it are from a separate farmhouse hunt.

Ring is corroded copper stamped 18K with just a tiny glint of the gold plating at the stamp. It's going back to the homeowner who will appreciate it as a historic artifact from the old farmhouse property.

Anyone ever hear of Irwin's Fair Stores? This is the head of a key with that store name on it.

THAT, is an awesome spread of goods

That little green-spot is turning into a real Treasure Island :icon_pirat:
It's doubtful that it has EVER been hunted until now. . . which is sweet!

So, you having a beer to celebrate? :)

Is this place the same address as the Sheridan Rd address on that key?

That's the address, Mayo.

I refined my search criteria and came up with a Wikipedia page, but I don't think that it is the same as the locations aren't listed.

Here's an article from 1902 that sounds a little more on target as it mentions Clark St.:

A big story that made it all the way to New York! Hey, after all, revolvers were fired!!! :o

Hey, great finds, Neil! Looks like Mike and I found a spot similar to yours...except he's finding all the goodies while I'm pulling clad and a single '46 rosey! Keep hitting that spot, let's see what else it will give up.
