nice finds, if i went to my parks around here with a small shovel and was seen digging those size holes i'm sure they would ban detecting in the parks, locals would have a fit.

Gotta agree there. Digging a 5" deep mem with a Ames garden shovel might be overkill.

Of course that don't keep me from saying, Great Hunt! And boy do you how to wind 'em up afterward...

Dave, I'm really sorry to hear about the Mrs. I hope everything turns out well and she's feeling great soon!

I use a trowel in the parks for low profile hunting, but when I use a shovel, you can't beat this one:

    Best shovel Mark ever owned!

    Nice dime & nickel!

God bless our veterans! Thank you for your sacrifices!

    Cool video Dave!
And don't worry about the "slacking" part. . . we all go through those times.

My thoughts are with you and your wife for things to get better

    Hey Dave,

Sorry to hear about Mrs. McNickel. I hope it isn't serious and that she feels better very soon. Don't worry about "slacking", priorities are priorities, we all have to prioritize. I love to get out on a saturday or sunday for some swinging because it tends to revitalize me for the following week. And sometimes when I can't go, I don't feel "complete". So suffice it to say, I haven't been feeling too complete as of late. I also bought a house and am back in school so first things first. Good luck out there, and call it up if you need a partner. One of these days I need to retry my luck at one of those parks, since I found diddly the last time out that way (back in the day!!).

    Regards,

    Joe

p.s. As always, I'm loving the videos!!
