For anyone who has hunted the "camp"

I found this and thought it was kind of funny. Makes me wonder if this is the annoying dude that kept bothering Kermit as he tried to film his finds.

LOL Could be but the guy kept asking me if I worked for ComEd. I just found a barber dime and tried like 5 times to record it but everytime I got more than 5 words into my vid he asked me another question. I gave up trying to video and just left!!!

Hey, at least he didn't have anything negative to say about you guys! He got the war nickel info backwards, but it helps to let him know that you share in his excitement of the richly layered spring ephemerals and their graciously inviting colors.

Ah the sheer pleasure of viewing the first buds, blooms and stalks from wood anemone, Jack-in-the-pulpit or the toothwort. Yellow pimpernels spike a fever in me, a recess into an earlier place in time and nature where man had no need for metal detectors.

Then pull out your atlatl and nail a fawn, rip open it's hide with a sharpened stone and offer him some liver. That's what I'd do!

I wonder what literary simile he would choose for the highly invasive Buckthorn. . .

I wonder how his narrative would have sounded had he found Joe's adorned tree or some of the folk responsible for it?

I had a dude ask if I was with the gas company once. The lady who gave me permission to hunt her yard didn't tell me she was a renter... The property owner came over and asked what I was doing... when I told him hunting for pennies, he smiled and walked off after saying he thought I was looking for the gas pipes.
