Re: After years of "cheap-a$$" flatware. . . finally!
I haven't joined the sterling spoon club yet.
Today I did add another stainless steel spoon though.
Congratz on a really nice find - that pattern is awesome and it's in great shape.
So many of the spoons I found were bent in a particular position to make heating something in them easier...

Wow, Mark!! Good to see that spoon, Neil told me about it in the parking lot. Yeah, I ended up leaving early as I said I would, couldn't find anybody to tell until I got to the lot. I hit one of the other groves but it was absolute bottlecap day for me and I just saved my energy! Your finds sure do beat my two wheats (1919, 1924) and crusty green cent (IH?). Thanks for the invite, it was great seeing all those faces again, even though I lost track of everyone (I stayed by the path, never went as far as the rest I guess). Beautiful spoon, it's on the top of my wish list. Nice coins too.
