Meanwhile, back in the tot lot....

[Clad the Impaler]

....Returned to the tot lot where I found the 14k earring yesterday. Nothing too exciting today. Kids charm and a '41 wheatie were the only notable finds. Clad totaled $7.24 (9 quarters, 35 dimes, 18 nickels (one of which was a collectible '46), and 59 cents (43 copper and 16 zinc)). That's 121 dug coins today alone!! AY CARUMBA!! Thoughts and observations on todays hunt: This is the first time I've dug/found 2 wheaties in the same tot lot (found a '45 yesterday). Over 50% of my targets today were 4 or 5 inches deep. That's pretty deep for a tot lot, no? The 18 nickels I dug today is a new one day record for me. YAY!! Too bad the '46 wasn't a '45.... I've covered about 90-95% of this particular tot lot, and will probably return to finish it off later this week. Pics below. Enjoy!!
