It's been awhile. . . a lot going on with my 91-year-old uncle and all the "honey-do's"
around the house (you know, the federales ::)).

But anyway, I got out with Kimsdad & Older Actor about two weeks ago to an old, old spot.
About 200 years old and we all found some cool stuff. . . (Neil scored big with Spanish silver
and a flintlock side-plate plus a few other goodies :notworthy:) and Older Actor found some
sweet stuff too. . . and he traded me a couple of his "trade beads" for one of my trade
buttons ;D. . . which was really cool

OK, on to last week. . .

Last Friday I got out Gimsium and we headed to the south woods where we both score some
goodies (silver) in a forest clear-cut area that dated pre-'65  It was nice to find to
find SOME coinage that didn't require the Peroxide method of conservation :)

On Saturday, Kimsdad & I headed to a spot. . . courtesy of Lowbatts & Mayo. . . that was
totally V I R G I N  and everyone scored with silver and other goodies. One of my
more "interesting" finds was an "O.K. Vender" slot token with the steel center rusted out. After
looking it up, I found out these were used during prohibition. . . which is really kind of cool.

So, that's about it. . . thanks for looking!

Wow!
Talk about covering the bases Mark!

Coins, bling, relics and more! I didn't get to see those nickels earlier, they did come out great!

What a taste of a formerly busy, unhunted site can do, eh?

Love that fork!

Great kickoff on the cool weather hunt season!

Great assortment of goodies!

If you run out of room or display space, I could hold them for the next 50 years or so.
:laughing7:

Congratz on the finds!
